How can I find out more

Brochures detailing RASWC’s services are available at the office and City Halls throughout the planning area. Visit our facility or contact us to receive answers to other questions you might have.

Will RASWC present to my organization?

YES! We provide tours and presentations to area businesses, industries and organizations. Topics include disposal services of RASWC, recycling how-to, household hazardous waste, alternative yard-waste or other sustainable living practices. The on-site education center provides seating for groups of 50 or less. Contact us to schedule a tour or presentation at the RASWC facility, or we can come to you!

What resources are available to local educators?

RASWC Tours/Fieldtrips: bring your class to see the Transfer Station, Recycling Center and Regional Collection Center in action! The Education Center can accommodate up to 50 students for hands-on activities and games. (2-3 hours)

Fun and Interactive Presentations

We will come to your classroom to talk about recycling, litter prevention and clean-up, household hazardous waste, e-waste, solid waste disposal, composting or sustainable living practices. (30-60 minutes)

Teaching Resources

Videos and DVDs on a variety of topics are available to check out for classroom viewing and we can access free literature, coloring books, activities and hand outs appropriate for each age group.
